The Basson B15 is one of the best sounding 15" cabs I've heard. It is quite loud for a 15, putting out powerful and juicy lo-mids and mids. The bottom end is solid, and thumps more than any 15 has a right to. It's a perfect complement to my Peavey 410 cab. Together they lay down a powerful, articulate sound. I play a Fender P Bass through an Ashdown 500 EVO II head. With the addition of this cab, this rig cuts through an extremely loud and bottom heavy band (two drummers, a keyboardist, a growler and a baritone guitarist). I actually have to turn down now! I have the bite and the punch I need with the Basson B15b.

It is one of the best 15s I have used. I really don't have any idea what the guy before me is talking about I took a crate and stuck it side by side with the basson 15 and needless to say now I have a new seat for when i practice at home. I only cranked the output to half maybe less and the room rumbled and it is great for those who are playing small gigs like bars.

I just recently purchased the Basson B15BGR extension cabinet. By far the best looking and best sounding cabinet I’ve heard in a long time! A far more superior design than any other single 15 extension cabinet I’ve seen or played through in awhile. I am in an Atlanta based 4 piece metal band by the name of Black as Day. So I definitely have to bring it every time I play. I do that by using the B15BGR along side my Ampeg 8x10 bass cabinet. I use a Spector neck-thru 5 string bass, an Ampeg Svt 4 pro bass head, a BBE sonic maximizer, and a DBX 1066 compressor/limiter/gate. I can’t begin to tell you how hard my bass hits now that I’m using the B15BGR along side my 8x10 when I play! The clarity is amazing! This cabinet delivers! Usually at rehearsal or at shows my guitar player is always being told to turn his rig down. Now there telling me to turn down. I am really pleased with the customer support I’ve received. I can’t remember the last time I got such GREAT customer service and support! Thanks guys, you ROCK! I’ve been reading the specs on their B810 bass cabinet. I’m sold! I’m in the process of selling my Ampeg 8x10 so I can buy the Basson 8x10. That cab can handle up to 2,000 watts. That’s insane! I’ll never use that much power. But it’s nice to know that it’s there if I need it. Thanks!
