I can't say anything but good comments about these cabinets!! I have 2
4x12 cabinets. I using a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. I also use the THD
hotplate. You can't imagine what a difference the cabinets make. If you
are using a tube amp, you get such a warm tone to it.. I used other cabinets
before, but these are just top notch. The quality and craftmenship is
great. If you are in the market for cabinets, don't think twice.. Get
the Basson Cabinets!! You wont be disappointed...

After hearing Basson's cabs in action when a touring band came through,
I knew I wanted to give them a shot to provide my first cab. The more
I researched Basson, the more sure I became. This is GREAT value and pricing
for an incredible speaker cab. I play in a progressive hardcore band called
Cher Nobyl and this is the perfect cab for the style of play myself and
fellow guitarist use. We are chaotic and noisy, musically and in performance,
and these cabs back it up with all the volume we need, and a massive amount
of clarity and a huge impact. Nothing gets lost in the loudness, this
cab accents and emphasizes every punch. Basson builds TANKS, this thing
is about as invincible and air tight as you can get. Awesome for low tunings
and heavy music of all kinds. This beast won't disappoint.

This is my first REAL cab...I have used nice ones before while recording
(mesa, marshall, and orange) but have not owned one, and I have to say
out of all of those the BASSON is by far the best and especially for dropped
tunings which I use...on my previous cab my head was turned all the way
to eleven and the clean channel would get all muddy cause of how hard
it was driving the speakers...but not with my BASSON..in fact, I actually
had to turn my head volume down to five...and the construction in also
incredible...this thing is a tank, literally...its heavy and sturdy and
the casters can roll over anything. If you play hardcore/metal or anything
in dropped tuning save yourself a couple hundred bucks and gain a new
respect for BASSON, theyre the best

This Cab is a MUST!

I am an active musician in a progressive/hardcore band called Cher Nobyl
based in Pueblo, CO. I have to say that this cab is built like a TANK!
With Eminence Legends air-sealed with silicon, you know this is going
to pack a punch! I usually run a Peavey 6505+ through it, and the tones
that are produced are incredible! If you are a serious musician that needs
a loud, tour worthy piece of equiptment, i would reccomend the Basson
B412. Hands down.

I've had this 300watt cab for a year...

I've had this 300watt cab for a year now and its won me over. I ve been
playing for 16yrs and have played a Marshall 1960 the whole time. The
Marshall is muddy and fuzzy sounding compared to the Basson. Basson's
have a clear and higher midrange tone that translates beautifully for
lead guitar. Single notes are dominating and chords are crushing with
tight lowend. With any new cab, give it some time to break the speakers
in and you will be rewarded with clear, blazing tone!

Major
label experience tells me this is special...

The air-tight construction with the Eminence Legends in a tuned box make
all the difference. Me, I'm a 43 year-old performer, engineer and some-time
producer with major-label credentials. I recommend this box in any studio
environment where there's detuned guitars, high-gain, warm, rich tones
or ultra-clean twang.

Ok first off let me just say that I've played on a series of cabinets
(Marshall, VHT, Krank, Mesa, etc). They all sounded good in their own
way, except for the VHT, which was muddy. Anyways I had know idea what
Basson was, and was kind of skeptical to trying them out until I heard
it dies today was using them. So than I said to myself, I will give it
a shot. ONE WORD...INCREDIBLE. This cabinet is amazing and it's not a
"sell out cab" like marshall or mesa. This cab is made for the
softest tone to the heaviest of metal. BUY IT NOW!!!
